Self Discipline: Control impulsive behaviors. Prepare for each days activities. Complete each task with self-control and a sense of responsibility.

-Does not speak while others are speaking and raises his hand before speaking during formal discussion periods
- -Brings his completed Commitment Card and wears his club shirt to every program meeting
- -Solves problems starting at the lowest level of the chain of command: Squad Member, Squad Leader, Youth/Adult Leader, Division Leader, Club Director
- -Settles disagreements with other members by admitting fault, apologizing, shaking hands, and moving on.
Obedience: Submit to and comply with the will of God and to those exercising legitimate authority.
